Four Die In Truck Accident In Owerri, Imo State

It was tragedy and a scene of tears last night as a couple of people were last night hit ,by a Pepsi truck.
At about 8 pm of the 8 February 2014,after an EPL match, a truck carrying Pepsi products lost break and hit about 5 people at the IMSU junction round about in front of Orange Groove bar.
The said truck driver was said to have lost control of his vehicle and in the process hit the vehicles and people on its way. The Pepsi carrying truck was said to have hit a Honda Accord(End Of Discussion, 3 keke-marwa and 3 individuals who were by the road side. I learnt that 2 people were inside the Honda, which was badly compressed, while 2 o the 3 other individuals were moved into the gutter and covered by bottles. While passersby were trying to rescue the passengers in the Honda, they heard a voice screaming for help, and our ever good-willed Imolites went to her rescue by using their bare hands to shove away broken bottles, surprisingly another person, a male, was found inside the rubble. An eye witness said ,that the girl had broken bottles all over her, from her head to toe even in her private part and buttocks, except for the hand in which she used to signal for help. After the accident angry youths pounced on another truck that was coming that way, shattering its windscreen and rear windows before it could make an escape.
There were traces of blood all over the place, see the pictures here, and from the news on privately owned radio HotFm 4 of the people involved are dead. On hearing this I visited FMC owerri but could not get any information.
May God grant the soul of the faithfully departed peace.
