In line with the Imo State Government's good intentions and
determination to fulfill the social contract it has with Imolites, especially
in the area of provision of employment, the State Government under the guidance
of the Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha with his Chief of Staff, Hon. Uche Nwosu, is not leaving any stone upturned.
Consequent upon that, the Chief of Staff (CoS), Chief Uche
Nwosu was on inspection to SUMEHCK FOAM Industry, located along Uratta Road
Orji.
SUMEHCK FOAM INDUSTRY is a privately owned company with a
staff working capacity of over 30 persons who are well furnished with adequate
machinery to perform effectively thereby enhancing the quality of foam produced
in different dimension and for different uses.
The Government is looking in to partner with both
foreign and indigenous/local investors and industrialist following its agenda
to create industries and curb unemployment.
It is on note that during the week a powerful delegation
from the Republic of China, led by the Chancellor of the Chinese consulate in
Nigeria, were in Imo state to explore areas of mutual business interest and
development with Imo state.
The Chief of Staff thanked the General Managing director of
the company, Elder John Osuchukwu, for his contribution to the economy of the
state through the activities of his company in creating employment and being a
solution provider in terms of solving the comfort needs problem of the society
especially in Imo State.
Continuing, Uche Nwosu informed him of the intention of the
government to partner and encourage industrialists who have genuine intentions
to assist in creating jobs for the teeming unemployed especially the youths and
graduates.
