Ihedioha bags NILS Award.

Immediate past Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha, was yesterday 18th July, 2016, conferred with the award of Fellowship of the National Institute for Legislative Studies (NILS).



 A letter nominating him for the award said conferment is in recognition of his “immense contributions to the growth yuof the Legislature in Nigeria, particularly the National Institute for Legislative Studies.”-Dr. Ladi Hamalai, Director General of NILS.
The conferment ceremony was presided over by Senate President Bukola Saraki and House of Representatives Speaker Yakubu Dogara.


Other fellowship awardees by the Institute are Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal and immediate past President of the Senate, David Mark.
Others are former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole and ex-deputy Speaker and incumbent Senator, Ibrahim Nafada


 The former deputy Speaker and PDP guber flag bearer and the last general election in Imo State, hosted party men and women, friends and well wishers to a small gathering at his Abuja residence.
