Imo APC Congress: Imo Deputy Governor Loses Out As Ekeh Retains Position

All is not well in the factional APC camp of Imo State led by the National Organizing Secretary Sen. Osita Izunaso, Sen. Ifeanyi Ararume and Imo Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere.

Grapevine report from the Imo Deputy Governor's camp show that the deputy governor; Prince Eze Madumere is still unhappy about the political gimmicks been played on him by his allies in the allied Forces s the coalition are also called.

According to our source the aggrieved Deputy Governor narrated his frustration with a full expression of grief on how he was asked (belittled) to only write and present Congress results of only Mbaitoli LGA.

He also expressed displeasure over the change in their initial permutation of him becoming governorship candidate with Ararume's son as his running mate.

We understand that the deputy governor was earlier told that Chief Hillary Ekeh will not return as party CHAIRMAN following the coalition's agreement to give way for him to emerge as governorship candidate following the fact that they both are from Owerri zone but surprisingly, on Thursday night, the game plan changed.

At the moment, the coalition has concluded it's congress which was alleged to have held on Friday night and returned the Mbaise born Ekeh back to his position.

From this it's back to square one for the Owelle bloc of the coalition consisting of Eze Madumere, Jude Ejiogu, Jasper Azuatalam, Chucks Ololo and a host of others.

Will the Deputy Governor now run for Senate as initially proposed by the Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha?
