FUTO 5 Return To Class After VC Grants Them Amnesty

Remember the 5 students of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri who were expelled back in May 2017.

Information reaching DPB has it that the Vice Chancellor, Prof Francis Ezeogu, of the institution has given them amnesty which was today rectified by the Senate body of the institution.

According to an Owerri based tabloid owner and aspirant for Imo West Senatorial seat, Mr Precious Nwadike, one of the students involved also know as Rochas FUTO called to inform him on the latest news on the matter.
He expressed gratitude to the institution for rescinding it's earlier position to allow the students round up their schooling.
It should be recalled that the following students; Collins Ogbonna (Fishery and Aquaculture Technology); Elvis Onuoha (Animal Science Technology);  Ebuka Odunze (Computer Science department) Kenneth Mega (Prosthetics and Orthotics department); Nnamdi Madu and Collins Ugwu both of Optometry department were expelled following a staged protest against hike in school fees and poor welfare which resulted in the loss of several properties belonging to the school.
